21.01.2022 The health, safety and wellbeing of our volunteers, staff, clients and customers is Cafs’ highest priority during these unprecedented times. We are in full support of government requirements on social distancing and restrictions on non-essential services to reduce the risk of COVID-19. This is why the decision has been made to close our Wozzles op-shops until further notice. The temporary closure of our three retail stores, as well as the Wozzles operations centre, means we... are currently unable to sell or receive any donated goods. We ask our generous community to please, under no circumstances, leave goods outside the shops. We’d like to remind the community that Cafs remains open and accessible to the community. Reach out to us if you need support.

Cafs Warehouse is having a clear-out sale on Saturday 28 November and we’d love to see you there! On sale will be a range of kids’, women’s and men’s clothing and shoes, toys, homewares bric-a-brac, manchester and books, with prices starting at just $1. Our doors open at 9am and close at 1pm, and the La Coffee Van will also be on site so you can grab a c...offee. Card payment is preferred, but please bring gold coins if you wish to pay in cash. Location: 1 Patanga Court, Mitchell Park. All sale proceeds go toward supporting Cafs’ programs that care for vulnerable children and their families, so come along, buy up big and help support our important work. :-) Please note COVID-19 rules will be in place for the duration of the sale. 04.01.2022 I know lots of Victorians have used this time to get to those odd jobs around the house. And there's something very satisfying about doing a big drop at the op-...shop and being able to admire your newly cleaned and sorted wardrobe. But despite some op-shops reopening, many are still closed or not accepting new donations right now. That means when you try to donate goods, they're actually ending up in landfill creating more rubbish and forcing charities to foot the bill. Op-shops should never be dumping grounds for broken or dirty things, and donations should never be left outside business hours. It's unhygienic, it's time consuming and it's dangerous for the people who work and volunteer there. So before you head out, call ahead or check online to make sure the shop you're visiting can accept your items. And remember it's only a donation if it makes it to the shelf.
