17.01.2022 Sydney needs more affordable and public housing, not less. Thanks to Melinda Pavey for meeting Nathan Moran, CEO of the Metropolitan Aboriginal Local Land Cou...ncil, local leader Warren Roberts and I to discuss the movement to see more First Nations people provided affordable and social housing options in Redfern and Waterloo. We’ll keep working with everyone to deliver an outcome for these communities.

15.01.2022 Aboriginal Affordable Housing has been left out the State Governments plans for the redevelopment plans for Waterloo Public Housing Estate. This is a serious issue that needs to be put back on the agenda! The land we live, work, and play in has Always Been, Always Will Be, land belonging to its traditional custodians, particularly the Redfern & Waterloo that holds a special place in the heart of the Sydney Aboriginal community. We support more and better Aboriginal Affordabl...e Housing in the Waterloo Estate in the future! 04.01.2022 Thank you Megan Gorrey@Sydney Morning Herald for an amazing write up on the state of the redevelopment in Waterloo at the moment, and portraying both sides of the argument beautifully. WPHAG's mission has always been to negotiate the best outcome for the Waterloo community, and meet in the middle with the State authorities on the redevelopment. Megan and her team have spent months talking to the community and we appreciate her hard work.... What do you think about the redevelopment so far? Are you satisfied? Comment below

01.01.2022 Congratulations to WeLiveHere2017 and thank you for sharing the strength and beauty of the Waterloo community with the world!
