As a result, we are giving away 1 x St. Kilda AFLW membership pack to the first 50 girls to register for the 2021 season. The earlier you register the more chance you have of getting a pack and more St. Kilda AFLW games you can attend.
18.01.2022 One of our Under 16s, Ciara, is donating her hair and raising money for Variety's 'Hair with Heart'. For the past 2 years she has been growing her hair for charity and will cut 35.5cm off on 9 December 2020. Losing your hair can have profound psychological effects, particularly through childhood and adolescence. One specialised wig can cost up to $6,000 and lasts two to three years so the cost is prohibitive for many families. Because of the support from the amazing Hair wit...h Heart community, Variety provides grants for kids across Australia who have lost their hair due to medical conditions such as alopecia, cancer and trichotillomania. Not only is Ciara donating her hair, she would also like to raise some money for the charity as well. Any donation small or large would be greatly appreciated. Check out her fundraising page now: https://hairwithheart.variety.org.au//ciar/hair-with-heart It's thoughtful, kind and brave what Ciara's doing and her parents are rightfully proud of her. So help Ciara raise some funds if you can and we look forward to seeing her new hairstyle on the field in 2021.

03.01.2022 OpenCorp's Cam McLellan and Michael 'Boz' Beresford get back to basics in this new episode of the BRICK TO THE FUTURE podcast, the second of a 3-part 'mini-seri...es' focusing on what's involved in building the foundations of a high-performing property portfolio. (Click here to listen https://bit.ly/3pMDk7j - or subscribe via your podcast app of choice). A critical part of successful investing is setting up your team. This includes getting professionals onboard who can fill some or all of the following roles: Mortgage broker Property adviser Conveyancer Accountant Financial planner Insurance broker "Whoever you might need in your team, that's your team," says Boz. Each specialist will have a specific role to play, so make sure you engage professionals who are competent in their area of expertise. For example, it's best not to use a 'garden variety' mortgage broker whose experience is confined to writing home loans. "A mortgage broker that understands investment structures is probably the most important asset to your team", says Boz. According to Cam and Boz, your team is there to support you on your investment journey, to help you move forward with confidence, so it's critical to get it right. 02.01.2022 To start on your journey to financial freedom you will need to set reasonable and realistic goals. Your financial goal may be different from others, so it’s imp...ortant to set up a personalised plan based on your income, savings and liabilities. The reason most people do not set goals, especially financial ones, is because they might fall short and will feel like a failure. In truth, most of us never achieve the goals that we set for ourselves but that is a good thing, provided you set the right goals. The biggest risk in goal setting is not setting goals that are too hard to achieve, but setting goals that are too easy to achieve. There is an old saying about setting goals: Aim for the stars and if you only get half way there then you will still have a very good view of the world. 2021 is right around the corner. Why not take this time to sit down (with your partner) to discuss your hopes and dreams: Where do you want to be in 10, 15 ... 20 years' time? What sort of lifestyle do you want to be enjoying? Give us a call in the New Year. We'd love to hear what you decide!
