25.01.2022 IMPORTANT REMINDER Netball In the Time of Covid - heres what you need to know. ENTRY & EXIT POINTS: Drop off and or enter the top car park (car line). Pick up/Exit: Lower car park (car line) or pedestrians via side gate adjacent to court 3. ... JUNIOR PLAYER PICK UP: It is ESSENTIAL the Coach or Manager remain with all players until theyre safely back with their parent/carer. Clubs and parents please ensure you make this happen. Coaches and or managers must wait in the lower car park car line with their team until each of them are collected by their parent or carer. WAVE ARRIVAL: Do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your game time as you will not have access to the courts. TImeslots are let in in waves 10 minutes prior to game time. Sanitise on arrival. Move promptly to your court. This ensures no crossover between crowds/timeslots. ATTENDANCE MONITORING: Your team manager/captain/coach MUST take attendance in the TEAM APP and advise the umpire this has been done or the game will not start. Instructions here SPECTATORS Spectators are to be kept to a minimum. All teams are only permitted 12 people - this INCLUDES players, coach and or manager and any possible spectators. The message here is: If you dont need to be here, please dont come. UMPIRES: If youre umpiring back to back games you may wait in the undercroft adjacent to the bathrooms in the seating available. GET IN. PLAY. GET OUT. This is crucial. We ask you to move promptly away from the court as soon as your match is completed so the next wave may come in. SCORING On each court is a game box containing your scoresheets. The first team on the draw is to score. BYO pen. Return the scoresheet into the box in the plastic sleeve marked 'Completed Score Sheets HYGIENE Post pads are to be wiped down by each team at the completion of the match using the disinfectant and wipes provided in the game box. Players are to sanitise during quarters. DO NOT ATTEND IF: Youve been to a Covid Hotspot in the last 24 hrs OR you feel unwell. Most importantly HAVE FUN

14.01.2022 We're ready to welcome our NSG teams to the 2020 season at WLC commencing Sunday 19 July. Please remember many of the items you need are 'in the box'. Each court will have a storage box which contains score sheets, pens, antibac spray and wipes. After your game please LEAVE your completed scoresheet in the box. Each team needs to wipe down one post pad and dispose of the cloth in the bins provided. Then return the box to the centre circle for the next time slot. The score sheet is only for scoring and must only be handled by one person, the team first listed on scoresheet. Remember teams must complete their TeamApp attendance submission (up to 16 people including 'home' umpire) BEFORE play commences. Good luck all teams and have fun!

And please don't forget to submit your attendance reports within 24 hours of all trainings - this is a mandatory government requirement. 12.01.2022 Twilight round 7 is a success! Luckily the storm clouds held off so the WPS teams could play. There was a top of the table clash between two Willoughby teams in the Junior 1 division, all played so well in what was a competitive match. Grand final next week - good luck to all WPS teams!

08.01.2022 YES the wonderful Monday Twilight Comp is coming soon! Cost will be $320 per team plus the cost of NNSW Capitation if player is not registered for 2020. Each te...am needs to supply the following: QUALIFIED UMPIRE Must advise Name & Level Own uniform (same colours so you can be identified that you are a team) Own ball Own playing Position Bibs or patches Own sanitiser Nominate a person from each team to act as a Covid Officer to check teams in via TEAM APP Must be aware we are playing within a COVID19 Pandemic so protocol restrictions will apply If teams are not willing to adhere to protocols then please don't register. Ages: Juniors (from 10 yrs), Ladies & Mixed divisions (subject to team registration numbers). Umpires on Mixed teams must be minimum 16 years and be badged. These revised guidelines will be emailed to all teams. Also, GREAT NEWS, the draw is up on the NSNA website. 07.01.2022 After hours of planning and three hours of welding finally the new WPS sports facilities equally accommodate girls' sport, namely our 180 Netball and NetSetGo players. Big thanks to the WPS Netball Club for their attention to detail and focus on equity for girls' sport, by funding 5 extra netball hoops to the tune of $1500+... which were NOT a priority for the Department of Education's school renovation. Great to see we got there..... do I ever give up ????

03.01.2022 2pm today NSG umpiring session is ON. If you can NOW attend and have not registered, please let Mel know or just turn up. Session will be held on the indoor courts, but please come down to netball admin rooms to register first, as we cannot enter WLC via the main doors. Netball rooms are under the indoor courts, accessed via stairs from the top/main carpark, near the lower outdoor netball/basketball courts, where the bathrooms are. Thanks
