17.01.2022 I've been teaching Horsemanship with Heart for over 20 years now! So exciting to be on this journey, helping horse lovers to connect with their horses, develop their understanding and skills, and to be making a difference to horse's lives around the world!
13.01.2022 For those who are undecided about barefoot. After a transitionary period (necessary with any big change!) barefoot horses can be just that! For tough riding conditions on under-conditioned feet, then pop on your hoof boots. My horses have been barefoot for nearly 2 decades ... and going strong, despite challenges of environment here in the muggy green belt of the Yarra Valley!
12.01.2022 Touchy issue, that of horse size and rider weight. I am 'for' the horse as my number 1 priority and try to help people see and understand when and why the ratio is out of balance. I work on a 7:1 ratio - for optimum horse benefit. Anyone can research this, keeping emotions out of the study.
