25.01.2022 Wallsend Wrigglers Our next intake of children into our Wrigglers program will be on Tuesday-5th June, 2018. Please make sure you have registered your child at the school office so that your child can be included.

13.01.2022 Great week at Wrigglers!

11.01.2022 Today in Wrigglers we learnt about the letter ‘s’ and sang some songs, made play dough letters and learnt all about the number 1. We were very clever and rolled dice to match sea creatures counters amounts.

09.01.2022 We were learning all about the letter ‘n’ in wrigglers today!

06.01.2022 This week we read a story about Eight, the Octopus. We made a craft octopus with jiggly legs. We also had fun with our friends dancing to action songs, playing and singing.

06.01.2022 We learned about the letter Cc & Kk and the number 10 today in Wrigglers. Clicking castanets and flying kites ck, ck, ck. Everyone had fun decorating a kite, reading a story, singing and playing games. We love Wallsend Wrigglers!

06.01.2022 All enrolled kindergarten students were sent letters last term and were asked to conract school if dates / time didn’t suit, if you have not received information please contact the school ASAP. The Beststart Interviews will begin Wednesday.

05.01.2022 There were lots of smiles and happy faces this morning as we made friends during our first Kindergarten Orientation school visit. We look forward to more fun and learning next Tuesday at 9:30am when the 2021 Kindergarten students return for their next visit.

04.01.2022 The graduation was held in Week 7 and we celebrated our time of getting to know each other and becoming familiar with school life.It was lovely to present the graduation certificate and then we all shared a delicious morning tea. We look forward to seeing our Wrigglers as our 2020 Kindergarten students next year. Special thanks to all parents and carers who helped support the Wrigglers program during 2019 making it such a success.

04.01.2022 Lots of fun was had during our second Kinder Orientation yesterday morning. We sang songs, danced and make some craft for NAIDOC week. We can’t wait to see all the happy faces again next week.

04.01.2022 Today Wrigglers was all about dinosaurs. We read a dinosaur story, made a dirty dinosaur craft and searched for numbers on our dinosaur number boards.

03.01.2022 Just a reminder to all our Wriggler families it’s book week at Wallsend Public School this week. This years theme is ‘reading is my super power!’. So come along dressed up as your favorite superhero or book character on Tuesday!

01.01.2022 We had another fun morning at Wrigglers this week learning about the letter ‘c’ and making crocodile masks. We also made playdough numbers, traced our names and did some dinosaur counting. We will see Wrigglers back after the holiday break.
