19.01.2022 Hay Season like no other ..... new era, new name and new challenges. Brenton (Son) new ideas and enthusiasm joined Peter (Dad) this year for the first time in between his main job, beautiful littles sons Dustin & Clay and planning a 2021 wedding to gorgeous Chels. With wisdom and knowledge of over 20 years in the hay industry Peter has mentored, guided and supported Brenton in his dream of returning to the country. To say it’s been an easy ride would be wrong. The weather ...unexpected delays, repairs and daily issues to sort through it has been exceptionally tough for us all (even me holding the fort at home juggling work commitments, prepping meals and making sure no matter the time of the day there is food ready to go for the endless eskies and paddock dinners. Washing plus being available to pilot vehicles whenever required). The blessing of the past month has been having Brenton at home and seeing the strong father/son bond and go go lets get this done mentality. Our Hay Cutting period is now done Peter now re-hooks up the Hay Baler and hopes that the weather is kinder and the work flows in what has been a particularly tough 2020. Contracting can be the toughest gig sometimes but what doesn’t defeat us makes us stronger. BIG Thanks to Adam Miolini and Jaxon Eyre for your assistance with the 24 hour around the clock shifts.
