18.01.2022 Congratulations to Western Australian writer Mohammed Massoud Morsi. His book The Palace of Angels (Wild Dingo Press) has been shortlisted for the 2020 Voss Literary Prize. This literary award was established to reward the best novel from the previous year. The Australian University Heads of English, the peak body for the study of English at Australian Universities, oversee and judge the award. 10.01.2022 Perth Festival has announced its 2021 program, which will have the theme of 'Bilya'. The Literature & Ideas program will run from 8 to 28 February and involve writers, artists and thinkers from across Western Australia in person and the world (via livestreaming). At the core of the program is The Literature Weekend which will be held on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February 2021 at His Majesty’s Theatre. The full schedule will be released on 21 Jan 2021....
