24.01.2022 It is nearly the end of the school year! Were you proud of your child's achievements? I had a question from a parent last week in regards to helping their child with his writing.The first step to any child improving their writing is to read aloud every single day! Children in years K-5 should be reading aloud so that they (and you) can monitor their reading. Does your child take a small break at a full stop? Are they correcting their reading if a mistake is made? We still hav...e 2 more workshop tutorials and students will be reading 3 books in a lesson and doing a writing activity. Our next adventure is a move to Canberra where I will resume teaching and tutoring there. I will certainly miss the students that I have helped over the last 6months and I am super proud of the reports that I have been getting from parents. It is unprecedented times (I am really missing small group tutorials where we connect, engage, laugh and share) but it’s only a short time (hopefully). Rainy day here in Canberra. Take care everyone.
