16.01.2022 This is one of the faces of the true heros of the fires. Dave lost his home while he defended the isolated costal community of Wonboyn Lake NSW. Dave along with 8 other members of the community fought and saved nearly all homes including our family holiday home. Only four homes were lost thanks to the tireless work of Dave and his team members, unfortunately one of the homes lost was his. ... Dave is retired and had worked tirelessly to prepare for his future that is all now up in smoke There are a lot of really deserving charities to donate to and I am sure many of you have already given generously.
