He has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few seasons and is an elite bowler within the RDCA ranks. We are incredibly proud of you mate and looking forward to seeing you progress further - no doubt a proud moment for you and your family. ... 20.01.2022 Not all news should be bad... we would like to warmly welcome Luke Raggett to the Wantirna South CC for season 2020/21! Luke, arriving in Aus from England when he was 15 lived and grew up in Wantirna. He started his career at Warranwood before spending some time at Norwood. Most recently, Raggsy has been playing in the 1st XI at Bayswater in the sub district league. Hes an all round cricketer who brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and competitiveness that will blend... in nicely at the devils! He is also a great bloke who will be a great asset to the Devils on and off the field. Welcome Luke, his wife Jade, young daughter Evaliah and the rest of his family including Dave Raggett (RDCA radio host) to the Devils family

10.01.2022 For those who havent heard the exciting news - The Wantirna South Cricket Club will be entering our first ever all girls team in the RDCA Under 15s Girls competition in season 2020/2021! ... The inaugural team will be coached by Sam Barnes and will be duly assisted by Ashley Carroll and Cameron Smith. The perfect ensemble to allow girls of all abilities to thrive. In a Facebook exclusive announcement and what is the on top is the news that our very own Fiona Carroll will be the first ever team manager for our little ladies. Fionas wealth of experience in male and female of all ages in sport will be most welcome. Having worked with and for Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria for a long time we think she adds fantastic string to the bow of this new venture. The team will be made up of girls of all experiences with the main aims for them to all develop, have fun and form friendships along the way. All girls will play for and will also receive a free Devils T-20 playing top! With a few committed already - wed like to add as many as we can to the team - or even, with any luck, teams!
