24.01.2022 Happy New Year!! But now the party must end, and the serious training begin - 2020 is going to be a huge year for karate, starting at the club and leading through local competitions to the AKF National Championships in Perth, to .. the Tokyo Olympics including karate for the first time Classes resume at all clubs next week, starting with Craigie 6-7pm on Monday 13 January at the Craigie Leisure Centre.... Feel free to drop in for a free trial class.

24.01.2022 Dates for 2021: The 15th WSKF World Championships will be held on the following dates. 1) 18-20th of October 2021 - International seminar, Tokyo Budokan 2) 22-23rd of October 2021 - World championships, Tokyo Budokan ... 3) 24th of October - Farewell party We will let you know more details as they become available. 24.01.2022 Congratulations to all participants in yesterdays 2019 Margaret River Karate Open Tournament. We had a great day finishing up with 8 medals from 11 events! 14...3 A huge thank you to Sensei Eric for his guidance and support, particularly in the absence of Sensei Grant Rollinson Wskf (get well soon!) Thanks Tai for making it happen at the very last minute, and of course thanks to the parent supporters for a great weekend away.

21.01.2022 A fun night was enjoyed by all for our last night of training at the WSKF Craigie dojo - light training, a few games and the club dinner where the Club Champion and other awards were announced by Sensei Grant. Congratulations to 10 year old Ciann Woodcock (5th Kyu) on being awarded Craigie Club Champion for 2018! Also congratulations to other award recipients:... Most Improved Little Tiger - Hunter Venter-Turner Junior - Lucas Petkovic Senior - Madison Campbell Perseverance Little Tiger - Kaiser Kretzmann Junior - Ridham Singh Senior - Luke Bolton Thanks were also given to Instructors Senseis Gaston and Linda and Sempais Glen and Andrew for their help and guidance throughout the year.

20.01.2022 WSKF Craigie student, 11year old Ciann Ardly-Woodcock, is training extra hard to compete for Western Australia at the Australian Karate Federation National Championships next month, followed immediately by her first trip to Tokyo to compete for Australia at the WSKF World Championships. And Ciann, pictured here centre front, successfully passed a double grading last week to Junior Purple belt with 2 stripes! Looking forward to seeing Ciann continue her karate journey in the years to come..

02.01.2022 WSKF Craigie student, Ciann Ardly-Woodcock (far left) training on her first trip to Japan. Ciann is now preparing to compete in her first WSKF World Championships next weekend, straight after her success at the AKF National Championships in Launceston, Tasmania, earlier this month. Ciann took the silver medal for 11yo Girls Kumite. The gold medalist was Dannica Starkey (far right) from WSKF Sunshine Coast, who will now be on the same team with Ciann. Looking forward to seeing these girls in action in both Kata and Kumite
