23.01.2022 Getting a lot of calls from people home at the moment looking at what they have been meaning to do around their property's but have put it off.Hence now they actually have the time to asses such . Pool repairs and renovations are on the top of the list for a lot of people. Hence we are out there doing alot of quotes/ estimates for them. 16.01.2022 We are trying so hard to educate the public that when you are looking at purchasing a new property and it has a swimming pool, please, please employ someone like us who can do a Pre purchase pool inspection. We have come across so many heart breaking stories. The last one was a young couple with a couple of children who looked at a house in Kenmore. They were tossing up between two properties and finally choose the one with a beautiful looking pool which they thought would b...e ideal for their young family. 3 months after moving in, the pool starts to get a milky look to the water. We get a phone call to come see what is going on. Unfortunately for them, the previous owners had tarted the pool up to look good for sale. They had actually PAINTED the pool with Weathershield HOUSE paint. we found the remnants of it in the garden shed. They now have a pool that needs to be emptied, paint blasted off, new resurface applied and they then also had damage done to the plant and equipment. Hence they now need to budget for such and the pool is unswimmable until they do....the house obliviously was not such a good buy and has given them a sour experience. Moral of the story is to get a PRE PURCHASE inspection of the pool BEFORE you sign......... we specialize in this. See more
