19.01.2022 On my way back from holidays today. It’s been lovely to get away in the caravan. We’ve been to Goomeri, Crows Nest, Toowoomba and Esk. Just having breakfast in Kilkoy then off to Gympie to visit a friend before heading home. Spreading the love to lots of little country towns along the way

15.01.2022 Live, Love, Bark. What a great life mantra.

15.01.2022 So, it’s finished! I am definitely not making any more of these, as there is just way too much work in them to be able to sell them for a reasonable cost. I am not 100% happy with it, and am classing it as a ‘seconds’ due to the layers of fabric at the strap attachments being too thick to go through my domestic machine so they have been hand stitched. I’m sure it’s something that nobody would notice, except me! Due to this I am selling this one for $119 plus postage. Definitely a one of a kind! This bag has now been sold.

02.01.2022 How’s your Christmas shopping going? Don’t panic, our fabulous sellers are here to give you unique items that are lovingly handmade in rural and regional Austra...lia. There are so many different items and styles, you are bound to find something that you will love and is not found in stores. Did you know: On Rural Cottage Crafts, we have over 1000 sellers - all from Rural & Regional Australia. When buying from our page you are liaising with the creator directly. Our sellers love the connections that they have made with their customers. Last Christmas, many of our sellers said that had it not been for the sales made on our page, their families would not have been able to afford Christmas. Selling items not only helps our sellers financially but for many this creative outlet improves their mental well-being. It validates their craft, giving it a purpose and has reignited their passion for their chosen craft. For many sellers, our page has provided them an audience they never thought possible as it removes geographical barriers if living in Rural & Regional Australia. Many, never having even sold at markets before. Buying from one of our sellers not only helps them but it also helps their local community; from the Post Office to the material or hardware shop to the newsagent to the coffee shop! It doesn’t go overseas. Rural Cottage Craft is a fee free selling platform. We take nothing from our sellers, all payments are made direct to the sellers. We know that you can’t support all our sellers, but a like or a share of posts or the page can help their posts be seen and give a huge mental lift. From little things, big things grow. Together, we can achieve wonderful things
