23.01.2022 *** EMU PLAINS WIN 2019 MG CUP *** On Saturday 25th January Western Sydney Wheelchair Rugby League hosted their finals at YMCA Hawkesbury Stadium. In a Grand Final game that showcased back to back champions Minchinbury Jets JRLC against EMU PLAINS JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB, with the both teams really showing the development of Wheelchair Rugby League in Western Sydney, this game was great finish to fanastic season.... Emu Plains just edged ahead of the Jets to take home the Mark 'MG' Geyer Cup for 2019. In the earlier game St Clair Comets JRLC out lasted the St Marys Rugby League Club to take out 3rd. Western Sydney Wheelchair Rugby League would like to thank everyone who played and volunteered this season. 23.01.2022 *** FINALS POSTPONED *** Due to the forecasted 45 degress tomorrow in Western Sydney and the surrounding bush fires, The Western Sydney Wheelchair Rugby League Committee have made a call to postpone this Saturday's finals until a later date. More details will follow in the new year on when this round will be played. We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period.... See you all in the New Year.

17.01.2022 The NSWRL has today announced all 2020 Community Rugby League competitions and activities have been postponed until at least 1 May, effective immediately, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As an affiliation to NSWRL under the Community branch, this will include all NSW Wheelchair Rugby League events. As many of our members are those in the community who are most at risk, this date may be extended. NSWWRL, along with Wheelchair Rugby League Australia, will continue to monitor the situation, and announce any changes as they arise.

15.01.2022 500 Days to go until the World Cup 2020 has been extremely difficult for many people, with much uncertainty about what is happening in the world. We are glad to... seeing some positivity shining through and hope to have our programs back up and running shortly. A great way to kick this off is with the rebranding and celebratuon of next years 2021 Rugby League World Cup, which will see us all coming together to celebrate #Unity and #Inclusion.

Given January is a busy month at YMCA Hawkesbury Stadium we have been able to lock in Saturday 25th January.... We look forward to see you all there.

However it’s a new system. Using an Active Kids Voucher? 1. Make sure you have your active kids Vouchers from Service NSW https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/tr/apply-active-kids-voucher (for players U18) 2. Click on the registration link above 3. Click Register 4. Select Player 5. Scroll to the bottom and click register 6. Type in email address as per last year’s registration and it should match your profile and copy over details. For new players, you will need to sign up. 7. Go through and register and pay. 8. Once complete, you should receive a confirmation email.

As registrations start coming in we will supplied more details around competition fixtures and structure.
