07.01.2022 I'd like to introduce you to an amazing woman I've had the pleasure of training for the past 3+yrs. Melissa has been vision impaired since birth and completely blind for 15 years. Our training sessions have and continue to be a learning and growing experience for Mel and I. There are always time for a laugh along with the hard work she puts into her sessions. I am so proud of how far Mel has progressed. Her self confidence in her ability to perform the exercise I prescribe, ...response to cues, and patience with me as I learn to be a better coach to help Mel reach her goals. Yes, we kickbox! Communication is an important component to our training. Boxing is one of Mel's favourite things to do in our sessions. Today Mel deadlifted with barbell and plates for the 1st time. Previously we have done this with kettlebells/dumbbells so technicallyMel had a head start. Just a few things to tweak but Mel has got this.

06.01.2022 Want to feel strongand energized? I found meals like these really do the trick. Timing when to eat is also important. I find I generally don't like to eat a meal (not a snack) less than 1 hour prior to a training sesh or more than an hour post workout. I also like to eat my meals pretty slowly so they digest properly. Everybody is different though, it's finding what works for you. 05.01.2022 Hi everyone. I hope you are all well and moving forward now that the worst of COVID is behind us here in Victoria. . Whilst in lockdown I have made a few life changing decisions, the main one being I will no longer be training private clients. I will still be instructing fitness classes for the Melton Shire Council starting 2021. . I would like to sincerely thank all my clients, from way back when we started in 2008, for their loyalty, support and friendship. @workthatbodypt... wouldn't have existed without you. 03.01.2022 Hi Everyone I hope you are all well. I just thought I would touch base with you all in light of today's easing of restrictions and what Work That Body PT will be providing and how.... 1. We will recommence training from Wednesday 13th May. At this stage all training will be mobile only. The studio gym will be out of action until gym restrictions are lifted. 2. I'm happy to train you inside and outside your house or park. 3. I will instruct you in accordance with social distancing rules. If in the event of an accident or injury I will have masks/hand santiser/gloves to administer 1st aid. 4. It would be preferable to use your equipment during training, but, you will also be able to use my equipment which will be cleaned and sanitised before/after sessions. 5. Training will not involve exercise that requires equipment passing between trainer and client e.g medicine ball throws or boxing. 6. All session payments will be BANK TRANSFER ONLY. If you don't have my business account details let me know and I'll pass them onto you. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to recommencing your training please feel free to ask. Lastly, there is absolutely no pressure to begin your training with Work That Body. If you would prefer I give you programming options to do on your own I'm happy to do so at no extra cost. 02.01.2022 WARNING: Strong woman alert! This girl had so much left in the tank at the end of her sesh we could have gone a little crazy. I've been training Rosie for over 12 months and this young lady has kicked so many strength goals it's ridiculous. We train twice a week (1 x Strength and Conditioning/1 x Powerlifting) with all her programming for PL being steady progressions which she has handled with a level of maturity well above her 15 years. I'm so proud of you Rosie and I can'...t wait to see what 2020 brings for you. . Today's session....last sets for all vids. 3 x 2 Sq 50kg BP 30kg DL 55kg .
