14.01.2022 Today, I achieved my 3rd Dan Black Belt. Its been a long time coming! Sometimes - no, often times - life gets in the way, takes us off the path that we really want to travel down. And often times, as adults... particularly as mothers... we let our needs and dreams come second to everyone else’s. ... My last couple of years have, hands down, been the most challenging, uncomfortable, scary ones I have ever experienced. But grit and guts and determination go a hell of a long way, and so does having a family of wonderful people around you. Not just blood family, but those friends who are your family.
