11.01.2022 What a great way to spend your 13th Birthday - by training 1000 kicks & 1000 hits in one class! Didi Felix turned 13 today (congratulations...) and in the online Zoom class tonight we gave him a present to remember. His workout, if you choose to give it a go, was this...... For every year you’ve been alive you do x10 hits and kicks. So year 1 is x10 = 10 hits and 10 kicks. Year 2 is x10 = 20 hits and 20 kicks, etc. We broke it up with a few push ups and jumping, then added 90 extra on the end to get to a total of 1000 hits and 1000 kicks. It is called ‘The Felix’: 10 Yin Bai’s, 10 Jhong Kicks 20 Yin Bai’s, 20 Jhong Kicks 30 Yin Bai’s, 30 Jhong Kicks 30 Tiger Presses, 10 Frog jumps 40 Yin Bai’s, 40 Jhong Kicks 50 Yin Bai’s, 50 Jhong Kicks 60 Yin Bai’s, 60 Jhong Kicks 30 Tiger Presses, 10 Frog Jumps 70 Yin Bai’s, 70 Jhong Kicks 80 Yin Bai’s, 80 Jhong Kicks 90 Yin Bai’s, 90 Jhong Kicks 30 Tiger Presses, 10 Frog Jumps 100 Yin Bai’s, 100 Jhong Kicks 110 Yin Bai’s, 110 Jhong Kicks 120 Yin Bai’s, 120 Jhong Kicks 30 Tiger Presses, 10 Frog Jumps 130 Yin Bai’s, 130 Jhong Kicks 90 Yin Bai’s, 90 Jhong Kicks. 09.01.2022 Last adults class of the 2020 Kung Fu year ended in legendary form. Some keen students attended amidst the torrential rain and were put through their grading paces leaving them sweaty and legs shaken. Congratulations goes to Didi’s Simon, Alex and Brent on passing their white belt grading.... But an even bigger congratulations goes to all students and teachers of the Wu Chi School No.4 for an epic year. We’ve had some sad times with classes closing, some exciting times going online and now a fresh approach with classes being taught outside. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday period and we very much look forward to training again in 2021.

08.01.2022 ALL Kung Fu classes are suspended until further notice. Please use this time to take care of yourselves and your family, to stay healthy and positive. If there’s anything that our Kung Fu community can do to help you then please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. These unpredictable times will require us to have a strong ‘Pin Di’ to ‘keep our centre when chaos is around us’ and to be ‘the calm in the eye of the storm’. ... If you are able to then please try to keep active and maintain your training... Train as if you were still coming to class. Teach your family the warm ups and do a daily ‘movement motivation’ with them. From our family to yours we hope you all stay safe and support each other. We will get through this and best if we can do it together - leaving no one behind. Sifu & Simu Gavin & Renee Cook
