24.01.2022 It's party time at the Bakery!!

24.01.2022 Letting our loyal customers know we will be open Saturday 9am to 12pm! Yay!! Thank you for your continued support and let’s keep doing the right thing when it comes to social distancing!

23.01.2022 As the saying goes...It’s not what you know but who you know... It was a pleasure to mingle with the Governor of SA, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC and his lovely wife Mrs Lan Le this afternoon! Earlier they had surprised us when they stopped by our bakery for lunch but it was even better when His Excellency gave us a raving review about our pies and pasties in his speech! Said they were now in his favourite top ten! Can’t buy publicity like that

22.01.2022 Due to a change in freight companies we are now doing our own deliveries and will be heading to Ceduna Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. If you need anything taken to Ceduna, dropped off along the way or brought back just give us a call - 0439407988

21.01.2022 ONE MORE SLEEP!! Still waiting on a few shop fittings but we have coffee and pies so there is nothing more we need really! Many times we wanted to give up but we are proud of what we have achieved while still keeping the wholesale side of the business going and we hope you love it as much as we do!! Can’t wait to see you soon

20.01.2022 That time of the year again!

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, until further notice our opening hours will be 9am - 2pm weekdays and 9am - 12pm Saturday’s. We are still offering our usual menu, the only difference is not being able to eat it here. If anyone would like to place a bulk order of any of our products - bread, rolls, pies/pasties etc - please message Liz on 0439407988. We will be more than happy to help. Thank you to our wonderful staff for putting up with Brett and myself during this uncertain time and a huge thank you to our wholesale clients and customers - without you we would need to shut our doors.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone! We would like to inform you of how we are managing our Bakery at this time. There is a notice on the door and we ask that you read this before entering our premises. We have taken all tables and chairs out of the shop and have marked the required social distancing out on the floor. With these measures in place it is possible for only eight customers to be in the shop at any one time. It is encouraging to see everyone working together when they enter our shop and... if someone is unaware what the black lines on the floor are for, other customers are gently informing them what they mean. Thank you for being aware and helping us - by working together in this fight, we hope to stay open, at least until we are required by law to close our doors indefinitely. Today (March 23rd) we will be closing at 4pm. In the following days we will look at bringing our closing time forward but will keep you informed of these changes via this Facebook page. Once again, we thank you for your support and patience in this time of uncertainty that is having a profound effect on us all. It certainly means a lot that many of you are still calling in and buying our products and keeping our staff employed. Brett, Liz, Zac, Lauren, Marie, Nikita, Toni, Anne and Amy (I tried to find a funny meme to go along with this post but they were all highly inappropriate and not suitable for a professional business such as ours - Liz)

19.01.2022 A long time planning but we got there eventually! Thanks to LJ Refrigeration and Regan Petty Electrical helping to make it happen! One more thing ticked off our to-do list ...

17.01.2022 Our outdoor eating area is a perfect spot to sit and watch the Wudinna Christmas Pageant! We also have the usual pop tops, fruit boxes and cool drink not to mention lots of cold water stocked in the fridges! Can’t wait to see you!

17.01.2022 The information we are about to share has been the culmination of many things that have gone against us so far this year. Some of these things have obviously affected many people who continue to navigate their way through uncertain times and others would say we are all in the same boat. We disagree but are not about to start a debate about how we are all in this together ... Other life altering events that have also happened to us over the last seven months have weighed in he...avily when making this decision. We feel we have no other option than to shut our shop for the foreseeable future. Our last trading day - until further notice - will be this Saturday, July 18th. We will continue to supply our wholesale customers, including the sports clubs we would usually be supplying this time of year. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience we may cause to our retail customers (especially our very regular customers) plus the school community for stopping the supply of school lunches. We are so sorry but we are sure (hope) you’ll understand. Liz and Brett

16.01.2022 What’s all the banging you ask? Well - In the recent decision to close our doors we decided it was a good time to fix some white ant damage with a few cosmetic upgrades. It turns out the damage was more substantial ... so we have gone CRAZY and can’t wait to show you all what we have been up to! We think you will love it ... watch this space. A BIG shout out to the Golden Wattle Mogas and Caltex Roadhouses for all their support stocking some of our bakery products, get around them and show them some love

15.01.2022 Quiche for breakfast? Why not - they smell divine

14.01.2022 Jimmy Ashby is a young man who has achieved more in his 20 years than most of us will in our lifetime. He is now on the home stretch to Adelaide after riding 40,000 km around the world raising money for much needed research into MND in honour of his Gran and today he took the time to call in to say hi to us at the bakery. It was a pleasure meeting you Jimmy! Well done!

12.01.2022 Not a bad bake for a Monday morning! And this is only half the order! Happy Monday folks - here’s to this week being better than last week!

01.01.2022 Nice little shout out this morning in the Sunday Mail! Thanks Peter Goers - you’re a great long time supporter of the EP! (PS - aiming for an end of January re-opening )

01.01.2022 Closing at 2pm today (Tuesday 24th) Sorry for any inconvenience. Will reassess closing times daily at this stage.
