19.01.2022 Update from Wulong - classes cancelled due to COVID-19 Restrictions Hi All our valued students, This is a further update on the current Tai Chi classes due to COVID-19. ... The decision of the Government to implement a shutdown of non-essential activity across the Australia from midday today 23 March 2020 is aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus. As the virus continues to spread in communities across Victoria we have made the difficult but important decision to cancel classes effective immediately. Wulong’s primary focus is to maintain the health and safety of our Tai Chi community and so in person classes will cease immediately until the Government allows us to resume. We will contact you again when we can resume in person classes but we are also working on alternative ways to support the Wulong community and we will let you know about this in due course. Meanwhile I encourage you to follow the public health safety protocols for social distancing: don’t be closer than 1.5 metres from another person, wash your hands and face at least three times per day. Continue home practice of tai chi and qi gong, especially the Baduanjin, to support your physical, mental and emotional health. Looking after yourself is very important in keeping our community safe. As indicated in our previous update, we will keep track of any class credit for you to make up free lessons in the future. We will update the class details as soon as we can. If you are experiencing any infectious respiratory symptoms (fever >37.5deg, dry cough, sore throat, breathing difficulties, fatigue/lethargy etc) please contact the COVID-19 hotline (free call) 1800 675 398. The hotline will be able to provide advice on the best course of action for your personal situation. Best wishes Lily Professor Lily Sun Wulong Tai Chi Kung Fu

08.01.2022 During the current COVID19 emergency Wulong encourages you to practice the Baduanjin qigong regularly at home. Baduanjin is specifically identified by the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a therapy for coronavirus pneumonia prevention and treatment. Baduanjin has been widely adopted in China amongst the general public, patients and medical staff to prevent illness and support the body to naturally boost its own immunity and healing.... Baduanjin practice can make a difference, not only to our physical health, but also our mental and emotional health by supporting a positive outlook.
