22.01.2022 Hay crop is coming along nicely. Another 10-20 mm forecast this weekend then hopefully able to cut the end of next week

21.01.2022 1000 km return trip today to Lakes Entrance to get new round baler for the farm. Good work out got the Ranger This season as well as our popular small squares we will be doing 4x4 netwrapped rounds. These will be midway between the big round and minis we did last season,.

19.01.2022 Hi all. We have plenty of our top quality equine grass hay available in the ever popular MINI rounds. These bale are very tightly compacted 1 metre round x 1.2 wide ( 3’6x 4’). Easy enough to push around . Tightly net wrapped so safe to store outside. Equivalent to 9.5 heavy small squares (just on 200 kg). Available for pick up $85. Delivery available. Pm for details

With so much rain It’s very important to keep up the nutrients up. There will be plenty of hay around this year with all the rain ... the quality will be the issue ..

14.01.2022 Lovely 11 mm so far today and still more to come, to finish off the hay just nicely. Watching the weather hoping to be baling in a week or 2 . REALLY glad we chose not to cut on the weekend. Driving home tonight I saw hundreds of acres cut and soaking wet. Look out for mouldy hay out there!!!

09.01.2022 A breakage in the tractor sprayer meant the old Hilux fire unit got used to finish off the last fertiliser drop for the hay crop. Bit slower but plenty of 1000 litre loads out. Consider the hay fed again with growth up to bonnet height ready for cutting in about a month
