19.01.2022 [COVID-19 Update from Scouts Victoria - September 7, 2020] The current Victorian coronavirus restrictions are effective from August 6: The State Government decl...ared Stage 4 restrictions in Metro Melbourne from Sunday August 2 and Stage 3 restrictions across the rest of Victoria from midnight Wednesday August 5. Currently, there is no face-to-face Scouting across Victoria. This includes all indoor or outdoor Scouting for youth and/or adult members. The Victorian government COVID-19 Roadmap to Reopening gives us a way to navigate out of the current situation. The table attached in this post aligns the roadmap steps with reopening Scouting activities. The dates in the diagram are estimates based on the predictions in the Victorian Government COVID-19 modelling they are not fixed and are subject to change. As we approach the estimated dates, further details will be provided on how we reopen face-to-face Scouting in each step. -- For further queries about this direction or any other coronavirus related issues, please contact [email protected]

09.01.2022 In these challenging times the spirit of Scouting and the Rover Scout motto of Service is as relevant and important as ever, for all of us. Today the Wurundjeri Rover crew would like to acknowledge and thank those who are on our front lines, as we as a community work together to face this Pandemic. To our nurses, doctors, paramedics, and all medical and care professionals, your dedication to the care of others, while putting your own safety at risk is an inspiration to us al...l. To the firefighters, police, SES, teachers, government services, supermarket workers, retail, hospitality, public transport staff, garbage collectors, educators, telecommunications, cleaners and all those who are working hard to keep our society going, we see every day the hard work you all do, we experience the difference you all make and we are thankful for the service you are giving in helping provide a little bit of normal to us all. Thank you to everyone else that is helping doing their part by staying at home. We have seen so many random acts of kindness, so many people reaching out to and supporting one another, we see our motto and the ideals of the Scouting movement spreading faster than ever before. Even though things are difficult, even though things are different we are finding new ways to communicate and stay in touch and to be of service to one another. We are all in this together so thank you to everyone that is doing their part. From all of us at Wurundjeri Rovers, we wish you all the best.

09.01.2022 Such an interesting night... the crew participated in making powerpoint presentations on a theme which they had an hour to do and then another crew member had to read it out without prior knowledge of what the topic is. It was definitely very entertaining

The crew also participated in a top secret mission of subtly getting someone else in the crew to say that word and some members did actually succed in this challenge

04.01.2022 Today the crew would usually be taking part in our usual local ANZAC day march but due to current circumstances the crew have found new ways to pay tribute to ANZAC day. By standing at the end of our drive way it show us as a nation being united in respecting and paying tribute to those that have fallen. Lest we forget
