24.01.2022 Well I had 2 good qualifiers so far running a new pb of 8.86@150 yesterday and now a 8.89@150 for 2nd qualifier, hopefully the consistency will stay for the first round tomorrow! I made sure the beast was looking hot for Winternationals! What do you guys think? 23.01.2022 After having a few meetings rained out we have finally had a couple of decent passes through winter warm ups yesterday and today. Showing some constancy which is good. 22.01.2022 Reflecting on the year that was 2019, it was the least racing I have done since I began racing in 2015 with only one single pass over the entire year! With that said I am so keen for 2020 to bring out the new bike and see what we can do with it! Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone! I hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe holiday and I can’t wait to see you all at the track in 2020!

19.01.2022 Getting keen for the all bike day this Sunday! I havent raced a meeting since Winternationals almost 3 months ago so I’m itching to go fast again! This is an awesome event for racers and spectators if you’re into bikes so let’s get out there and have some fun!!

18.01.2022 Well it’s finally starting to take shape! Still a lot of work to go into it but it’s finally looking like a bike!

17.01.2022 Well the new sprocket worked pretty well running a new pb in the heat and keeping the front wheel planted! Unfortunately only won one round which will knock me down the points a bit but just couldn't get my head around the tree. Bike ran perfect as always and can't wait for next round and hopefully a new pb

There is always progress happening on the turbo build and I don’t want to give too much away until it’s finished but the fairings are now all mounted in position! 17.01.2022 After seeing another turbo zx14 running a 7.07 it gave me some motivation to try and get my turbo build on the way. I’ve got a new setup in the shed with the bike up on the stand the motor is finally in the chassis and just about ready for some more fabrication work!

16.01.2022 Jumping back into the short wheelbase train before the turbo build starts going together. Haven’t ridden a bike like this for 18 months so this should be an interesting ride!!

16.01.2022 Went out for some more testing on Saturday night. Only got 4 runs but finally got back in the 8’s with an 8.96. Consistency is not there at all so back out this Saturday is the plan to try and find some consistency before the Winternationals in 2 weeks! #BaysideCoolrooms

16.01.2022 Well I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately as the bike hasn’t been a priority for me with everything else going in in the world and my own life, but Blaze has been killing it behind the scenes with more fabrication work being done on the bike! Can’t wait for the next steps to start and get it looking how it should!

14.01.2022 Got the slick fitted up last weekend along with the new billet fuel rail! Atleast we can set the angles, length and heights with the slick now. Thanks to Todd from Dogwood Racing for the direct bolt in billet fuel rail!

14.01.2022 A video from one of my passes from Saturday. Had a few issues Friday night and Saturday which are hopefully sorted now. Ended up going red in first round of racing which ended the season on a low but overall finished 10th for the season. Still a lot to learn and a lot to look forward to for next year. Thank you to everyone that helped me over the season! Time for a new look for the bike I think

14.01.2022 Shiny Sunday! Started to polish up my aluminium parts to get ready for anodising. Was originally going to just use a scourer to clean them up but figured I might aswell put some more hours in and get them all looking mint so now it’s time to polish everything. There’s still a bit to go on some of them but if the bike doesn’t go fast atleast it will look good

13.01.2022 After 3 rounds yesterday I ended up qualifying 11th out of a 56 bike field. Pretty happy with that but hopefully we can go alright when it counts through the first round today!

12.01.2022 Went out for another round of qdrc last night at Willowbank. Only came away with a best of 9.02 as I couldn't get my launch sorted at all even with some big mph compared to normal. Ended up winning 2 out of 3 rounds so hopefully that's enough to stay close to the top for this years points!

10.01.2022 Well it looks like my old zx14 has sold with the deposit now been paid. So it’s now time to focus on the new turbo build and get that under way! First is to get the fabrication finished with the subframe close to finished and the front rack and a few other smaller parts to be finished off. Keen as to see the rest of the fab work take place as the subframe is looking killer!! Thanks to Blaze at Wizard Fabrications for all the fabrication work!

08.01.2022 After a big trek down from Brisbane yesterday through the wind, dust and bugs. We’ve made it to Sydney Dragway for the East Coast Nationals and finished our first day of qualifying with a 9.03 and a 8.97. 08.01.2022 Well that was a big weekend at the Winternationals! The biggest drag racing event outside of America and I came away a runner up! So stoked that I made it this far! From not racing for 7 months and only coming back a few weeks ago, this was the last thing on my mind! I’ve always wanted pb’s every time I go to the track and this time I thought I’d actually try to go some rounds and I’m so glad I did! To come away with a pb and a runner up this is by far my best event yet! Thanks to Bayside Coolrooms for the constant support and thanks to everyone’s that has helped me to get me to where I am because I wouldn’t be here without you! Thanks to FW1 for keeping the bike looking great all weekend! I know you would be proud and looking down on me! Rest In Peace Uncle Carl

07.01.2022 Well that’s the end of that chapter. My old 14 is now off to its new home up north where it’s a little bit warmer! Definitely sad to see it go considering where it started and everything I have learned from this bike, from my first ride down the track, to a 9.48 swb pass, to an 8.86 pb. It’s been a great bike to learn on but it’s time to step up and see how quick a zx14 can go!!

07.01.2022 Went out first a my first pass since October last year. Made a few small changes and had to fix up a couple of things but in 4 passes I managed a 9.10@148 spinning through half track as I was too close to the centre line. Definitely some more to go so let’s see how we can get it to run for the winters in 4 weeks!

05.01.2022 We will be heading out to Willowbank again tomorrow for some testing in the lead up to Winters with the warmups being only 2 weeks ago we have a few thinks to sort out on the bike and a bit I need to work on aswell. 05.01.2022 Few photos from No Prep Kaos back in January at Warwick raceway. This event certainly tested the skills trying to get down the track with nearly no traction. Was definitely a good event and keen to do it again next year!

04.01.2022 Went out for some more testing on Wednesday night and ended up running my first 8 and even finished the night with a 8.93. Pretty stoked to get to this point! Can't wait to see how. Inch further it can go

04.01.2022 Well I’ve been a bit quiet since the racing season has finished but I’ve learnt so much over 2017 which we are hoping to pull it all together over the next year. Still a lot to go to get it running and hit the track but hopefully 2018 will see a big improvement and will keep you all updated as the bike progresses over the next few months! 04.01.2022 Raced in the first round of QDRC last weekend at Willowbank and ended up finishing 8th out of 38 entered bikes. Pretty happy considering it's my first event other than Winternationals 9 months ago! Looking forward to round 2 on the 18th of March

04.01.2022 We’ve had some more progress on the turbo zx14 again lately with the fuel cell just about finished up. Another piece of the puzzle ticked off, can’t believe how nicely it’s all coming together! Wizard Fabrications surpassing everything I pictured as always!

04.01.2022 Will be back out at Willowbank tomorrow night testing after over a month of no racing at the track. Very keen to get back out there and will post updates of how I go. Bring on this cooler weather!

02.01.2022 Well as this year comes to an end we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Didn’t get to race a lot this season with the turbo build taking priority most of the time. Although I did race Winternationals and came away runner up which was definitely the highlight of the year! Keen to see what the new year brings and we will see you all at the track in 2019!

02.01.2022 Went out for some passes at the Winter Warm ups on the weekend and ended up running a new pb of 8.87@151mph. We had a few clutch issues which took a few passes to sort as it didn’t feel right and was creeping up into stage. Hopefully have them all sorted now and get some consistency in qualifying for the winters. Thanks to Cam, Johnny and Bayside Coolrooms. The bike wouldn’t have ran aswell as it did without you guys!

01.01.2022 We now have the Link ECU mounted in place underneath the seat. With the Link thunder being the biggest and most advanced ecu that Link has produced it is quite big in size being over 20cm wide so we were quite restricted on where we could locate it as it had to be mounted in a way to keep the g meter(accelerometer) happy and usable.
