25.01.2022 Although I love the big trench with the dugout. 30 minutes to setup (plus at least another 30 setting up the display cabinets) was killing me. So, back to a new version of our 3rd design. 5 minute set up.

25.01.2022 Country NSW, Forbes. Love it out here. The people and the land.

23.01.2022 To the students and staff Scone High School, I am so sorry that I did not open your thank you card till tonight!

21.01.2022 We just backed this. If you liked or loved The Great War YouTube Channel you may be interested as well. ‘Rhineland 45 - Decision in the West' will cover one of the largest battles of WW2. https://www.kickstarter.com//realtimeh/rhineland45/rewards

17.01.2022 We have some fantastic battlefield relics we use in our school display. While showing them we constantly refer to French and Belgian farmers digging up items from the war, just like Australian farmers dig up rocks. Hopefully this helps them to understand the link between the battlefield then and the farmers field now.

16.01.2022 We just had a teacher ask if we would visit a school near Mildura, my answer....we have been to Griffith, Bourke, Lightning Ridge, Eden, Tweed Heads, so I am thinking yes! Just so you know when we say anywhere in NSW we mean anywhere, we have even jumped the border into VIC and QLD at time.

16.01.2022 WW1 Living History incursions cover the average Australian soldiers experience in the trenches of France and Belgium 1916-1918. From uniforms and food to first aid and weapons. Using fact based storytelling and genuine artefacts, our goal is to bring students a focused insight into part our countries WW1 history: The frontline digger on The Western Front.

15.01.2022 I don’t care if I die, I probably will. Just don’t let me be buried in an unmarked grave.

15.01.2022 Do you know any more?

13.01.2022 October 1916 First conscription referendum. Dismayed by heavy casualties (killed, wounded and missing) at Fromelles (5,500) and Pozières (23,000) on the Western Front, Prime Minister W.M. Hughes proposed that conscription be introduced for overseas service. The proposal was narrowly defeated and the AIF (Australian Imperial Force) continued as an all volunteer army.

13.01.2022 Thank you to all of those that serve.

10.01.2022 How hot is it where you are today?

09.01.2022 WW1 LIVING HISTORY to become WORLD WAR LIVING HISTORY in 2021. Although it is not set out the way schools would see it yet, this is a short video of what we have put together so far for our WW2 1942 New Guinea - Kokoda and Milne Bay display. Feel free to message us for more information.
