05.01.2022 Hi folks, On the 18th of August 1966 my father and the men of 6 RAR delta company were embroiled in the Battle of Long Tan.This week commemorates the Veterans day and I was approached to talk on behalf of my father and soldiers who have faced the grim realities of war.I could only relate to how my father felt and I tried to bring as much attention to the plight of all soldiers who face life after the Battle and then face the war of the politics trying to rebuild their lives and their minds. So I salute you all" and I am proud to be the son of a Veteran.
