04.01.2022 As it heats up out here in the Outback, we really start to appreciate the air conditioning, but spare a thought for the servicemen who were based in Charleville during WWII. This photo shows them digging the trenches at the base we can only imagine how exhausting this would have been, especially under the blistering sun. - Photo credit: Floyd Stacey.
