23.01.2022 PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS If you were affected by the hail storm on Saturday 2nd January 2021, please read below. ... To lodge a claim for property damage, the Insurer will require a Builders Report confirming the cause and extent of damage, photos of the damage and a quote for repairs/replacement items. Please note, there is no time frame to lodge a claim. However, if you attempt to lodge a claim without the required documents, this may cause delays in assessment and prolong authorisation. Please ensure you obtain the documents above before contacting us to lodge a claim on your behalf. EMERGENCY REPAIRS If you require emergency repairs, you can have these completed before a claim is lodged. Please keep the receipts/invoices to be added to the claim. As previously advised, our office will be closed until Monday 11/01/2021. However, you are able to lodge a claim with your Insurer by contacting them direct. WWIS

09.01.2022 UPDATE - Power has started to return to the city. Essential Energy crews are currently working to determined why power has been lost to 4340 customers in Broken Hill. They are currently investigating the Railwaytown Feeder for faults.
