He got lonely, and created Maya who said she would play with him but only if he did what she said. In agreement, Brahma created the world as we know it: Trees, rivers, animals, fish and fowl. Maya then instructed him to create an animal so intelligent that it could appreciate Brahma’s creat...ion. He created humans. Maya said that the game would start right then. She cut Brahma up into many teeny-tiny pieces and gleefully tucked a piece of him into each human. The game that Maya had created was for Brahma to try to find himself and remember who he is. We all have a part of divine creation within us, and the work on this journey in this world is to remember our true selves and come together. .
