17.01.2022 These trees are part of the elm walk. We are pruning these elms after the builders severed almost 50% of there root mass. We had to prune the trees a lot harder to try and compensate for the amount of root loss sustained. It was also to remove significant weight to counter the structural root damage. Unfortunately the trees will still decline. But hopefully we can manage them over time so that the avenue can maintain its appeal.

08.01.2022 This is one of the best plantings of silver birchs I know of in Melbourne. Luckily we have had the pleasure of maintaining them for the past 5 years.

07.01.2022 Today's tree transplant of this Brachychiton rupestris.

07.01.2022 Some of the work we just completed at the botanic gardens. This tree had to be removed due to the amount of decay in the basal plate. There was only 15% sound timber in the base.

06.01.2022 We have been preparing these trees this week to be moved around on-site whilst this development happens. Really good to see developers utilising the assets they have rather than cutting them down to be replanted in a years time. Two of these smaller trees will be moved to our tree storage facility and the large one will be moved numerous time around the site to accommodate the build. The big move starts Thursday.
