24.01.2022 Something a little different today, called out to rescue a neglected hive that has not been looked at for many years. The bees we’re disease free and reasonably clam considering what we had to do to get them into some decent boxes and ready to move once they have settled back into their new house.

18.01.2022 So this year we have been able to have all of the beeswax we collect over the past season processed back into the sheets of wax foundation that we use in the hives when adding new honey frames. The advantage of this is we avoid the possibility of introducing wax contaminated by parrafin etc that’s common in some imported wax foundation. On a broad scale, the wax our bees produce is going back into the hives it came from and that has to be a great bio security measure.
