25.01.2022 I have been using the dog boarding kennels at Moorholme Park for over 20 years. My pets have always been very well cared for and the rates very competitive....highly recommended.

23.01.2022 Each and every day we have dogs, cats, exotics as well as adorable kittens and puppies travel on long trips from their breeders to their new families. When they are travelling through Melbourne we are lucky enough to check in on them before their connecting flight and get lots of puppy cuddles and licks. Here is a picture of yesterdays adorable comfort stop in Melbourne before heading to her excited new family in Taree!

20.01.2022 The past couple of weeks have been very tiring with 16-20 hour days 7 days a week. Glad to see Clare Tyler return from holidays sporting a new engagement ring. And a special thanks to Jacqui Cant our agent in Cairns for all the effort and new interest she has introduced. ... It is a team effort, we have grown and continue to grow to meet the expectations of every new enquiry. We do have occasions, based on a couple of comments, that we do not quite meet their expectation level of service target but we are constantly looking for feedback both good and bad so we can improve to levels of service that people require/want. 17.01.2022 Transporting pets is part of our business and we obtain many requests other than just to move one dog or one cat from location to location. We were asked to move twelve dogs to Waverley Station on King Island. One other requirement was to include in the uplift of a 66kg dog in its Giant Vari Kennel along with the other valuable farm working dogs in their large crates and a couple of up and coming working dog Kelpie puppies. Most domestic airlines take a maximum four dogs/ca...ts as freight on flights. So how to move twelve dogs with the minimum of fuss and without costing the earth? So as not to undertake multiple airline flight bookings and arranging transhipments via Hobart or Launceston the best way was to ensure a direct flight and minimise the times the dogs were in transit we simply chartered an aircraft with the assistance of our friends at Sharp Airlines and we were able to make a direct flight from Melbourne to King Island and return in the morning. Wayne from Moorholme went along for the journey to ensure that the precious cargo arrived safe and sound and to undertake the handover to staff from Waverley Station. A number of people at King Island Airport were amazed to see so many large and giant pet carriers coming off a single aircraft. And of course once the precious pets had been met and collected at King Island Airport what is there to do while waiting to turnaround the aircraft but to do a bit of shopping at King Island Dairy before the return flight. Our thanks goes to our friends at Sharp Airlines for providing again another valuable service for people in regional Victoria and Tasmania.

16.01.2022 Today we saw "Lani" set off to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea to meet up with her owner, sad to see her go, she is such a beautiful and funny dog that all of us here loved playing with!

16.01.2022 We are consistently receiving requests to move multiple pets from location to location at affordable prices. Today we were asked to move ten valuable farm working dogs in their hire crates from Melbourne to King Island Whilst most domestic airlines take a maximum four dogs/cats as freight on flights. ... So as not to undertake multiple airline flight bookings and with the assistance of our friends at Sharp Airlines and we were able to make a direct flight from Melbourne to King Island. We can forward pets not only to and from King and Flinders Island but also into and from Portland and Warrnambool in south west regional Victoria and also pickup/deliver to Melbourne Airport to send/receive from other states. 12.01.2022 Good news for everyone in Canberra!!! At long last! Update information!!!!... Good news for everyone in Canberra!!! Virgin Airlines will be able to send pets into and out of Canberra Airport. Originally quoted for both inbound and outbound commencing next week Virgin have made a change due to operational challenges, that Canberra will be able to accept inbound animals from Monday 14th March with out bounds being accepted from Tuesday 29th March 2016. I will let you know if further changes occur. From the amount of pet transport enquiries for rates and booking requests we have had already this will be a sought after port. 06.01.2022 Update on airline rates! With the introduction of Virgin Cargo we have seen rates changed with some sectors reduced quite significantly! Especially for larger crates! Check out our new prices when next contemplating sending your pet interstate. Remember we handle all airports throughout Australia, including Warrnambool and Portland as well as both Flinders and King Islands. ... Quarantine! Eastern Creek Quarantine closes for last intake on 9th November 2015. After this date all imports will have to spend their minimum 10 day mandatory quarantine at the new Mickelham facility located in Donnybrook Road. We will still be undertaking collections but based on forward bookings we realise that not all pets arriving will be staying in Victoria. A reminder that not all airports are open on weekends and as such we can provide accommodation in our own boarding establishment whilst waiting to forward your pets to their new homes. This year Quarantine have informed us that they have changed their Christmas holiday release dates. They will be closed for releases on Christmas Day, releases will occur on all other days of the year. We take your feedback seriously! We do like to receive feedback so we can improve our levels of service to meet your expectations. After recent feedback from people that at times we are hard to reach we began searching for the right person to join the team.
