23.01.2022 If people call please about your TFN hang up!! It is a scam!

23.01.2022 Jobkeeper 2.0 To qualify you need to compare your GST Turnover July to Sept 2019 to your GST Turnover July to Sept 2020 and if you have had a 30% drop you qualify this is the basic test. There are two tiers of payments:... Working more then 20 hours per week in February or in June means you are classified as Tier 1 and in the extension period of 28th Sept to 3rd Jan your payment is $1200 gross per fortnight. Working less then 20 hours per week in February or in June means you are classified as Tier 2 and your payment is $750 gross per fortnight. for the extension period if 28th Sept to 3rd Jan.

14.01.2022 You are your brand so be authentic and real!

14.01.2022 When thinking about what to charge your clients you need to factor in the following: Superannuation, PAYG, Professional Indemnity Insurance, Association fees, Computer expenses (new and repairs), Cyber Insurance, Practice Management System, CRM (Client Relationship Manager), Printer, Paper, Scanner, Mobile Phone expenses, Internet expenses, subscriptions, Conferences, CPD courses or time to do the webinar not working, car expenses if you go onsite or collect paperwork (fuel ...and repairs), Video chat subscriptions, Security software, electricity, staff amenities (essential coffee or your favourite drink) and I am sure there are a few more! Not to mention staff and rent etc and this is just as a Bookkeeping firm. So when you add up all the things you need to pay for in your business are you charging enough to have a profit for your business each and every year?

12.01.2022 Networking can be daunting so focus on meeting just one person for the first meeting and building up your confidence until your target is 4 people per meeting. Don’t do the hard sell, make it all about them and who they are and it doesn’t have to be all about business!

12.01.2022 Jobkeeper 2.0 Extension 1: From 28 September - employers need to demonstrate that their ACTUAL GST turnover has fallen against a comparable period by 30% or more and tier 1 ($1200 per fortnight Gross rebate) and tier 2 ($750 per fortnight Gross rebate) JobKeeper rates apply and are generally based on average hours worked by employees. Tier one employees must work average of 20 hours a week over a 4 week period in either February 2020 or June 2020. For the JobKeeper fortnights starting 28 September 2020 and 12 October 2020 only, ATO are allowing employers until 31 October 2020 to meet the wage condition for all employees included in the JobKeeper 2.0 extension 1 scheme.
