25.01.2022 Thanks to all who participated, donated, supported or helped make Bubba Comp 2019 a huge success! Each year this event seems to go from strength to strength!

25.01.2022 Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful staff at Eraring Power Station Not only did they invite us to their Christmas lunch, they kindly donated a cheque to CanTeen. Origin Energy-Eraring Power Station has been supporting us since 2003 and with this incredible support we can continue doing what we do best. Thank you to all, we are so appreciative.

23.01.2022 The bushfires happening around Australia right now are catastrophic. These events can feel overwhelming, unpredictable and out of control. We’re here to support... all young people and their families impacted by cancer during this incredibly tough time. Our counsellors are available to chat online, over the phone (1800 835 932) or via email ([email protected]). Canteen Connect is available 24/7 for both young people and parents (bit.ly/CanTeenConnect). Please take care and stay safe. Photo credit: NSW Rural Fire Service

21.01.2022 Last weekend, 26 local leaders from the Sydney and Central and Hunter and Northern areas participated in Foundations of Leadership where they actively participated in a blended learning program where they were supported through purposeful leadership modules. These modules assisted our local leaders to acquire knowledge, seek meaningful involvement and self-advocacy skills to advocate on behalf of peers. Above all it was a chance for leaders to come together and share their stories in a supportive environment.

20.01.2022 If you are feeling hungry this Saturday at the Bubba Comp, come to the BBQ and get a feed. The BBQ runs with the support of Blacksmiths Family Meats. Thanks for being on board.

19.01.2022 The Bubba Comp is not only an annual surfing event honouring the memory of local surfing mates, but also an important fundraiser in the CanTeen calendar. And it's on again TOMORROW! Each year The Bubba is made possible by supporters and sponsors. One of the major sponsors of the Bubba Comp is Conplant. They’ve been Australia’s compaction hire & sales specialist for over half a century. And each year they help make the Bubba Comp happen with their generosity. Be sure to support htese guys in return! Thanks Conplant for being a massive part of the Bubba Comp, and by doing so, supporting CanTeen Australia!

19.01.2022 In 2018, my dad was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer. Ever since then my whole world has changed. Being able to attend this music festival was more than just a day out. It was an opportunity to be a fun 19 year-old again and not have to worry about the everyday realities of living with a parent who has cancer. Music has always been something special to me and has helped me through this difficult time. Thank you so much to the team at Canteen for making this day happen! 14.01.2022 A big shout out to our wonderful volunteers Ruth Teasdale and Paula Pepper from Beyond Bank who helped us at our Maitland Greenhills site on National Bandanna Day. Without your wonderful support we couldn't make National Bandanna Day the success it is. We thank you #BeyondBankAustralia

11.01.2022 A huge thank you to these guys from the SeasideTennis Classic who celebrated their 40th Anniversary of this special event. Each year they donate the funds raised to CanTeen and we cannot thank them enough. It is always a fun day and always a pleasure to be part of. Thank you David & Julie Caldwell & Co for your continuing support. Amazing effort!!

10.01.2022 The Bubba Comp is done and dusted for another year. An amazing $7500 was raised through this years' event and donated to CanTeen Australia. Such an incredible result wouldn't have been possible without the support from Oceanfire Surf. Thanks Lincoln Robards for your support and congrats on taking out the opens! And thanks to Teal for bravely sharing his story, showing how donations can make a huge impact for young people facing cancer.
