23.01.2022 Melbourne artist David Harley opens Thursday 29 September at Crawford Gallery. Harley has been an artist in residence at the RMIT University, a guest artist at the Atelierfrankfurt in Frankfurt and Artist in Residence at the Victorian College of the Arts. Among his commissions are a wall wall sized panel art works for Deakin University Library, Melbourne. He is in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria; NAB, Art Bank, Australia; Trinity college (University of Melbourne); University of Sydney Student Union; Atelier Frankfurt; Deakin University; Alice Springs Art foundation.

Quite a compliment for a first solo show. Here's a flashback to 2011 when we were colleagues on the Australian Art Review bi-monthly journal. It was the official opening of the Picasso exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW.
