25.01.2022 Great News from our friends at @readysetdanceofficial Popular preschool dance series, READY SET DANCE, returns this May with a second season packed full of new songs, signature dance moves and fresh new faces. The Australian Dance Festival is very familiar with the young Australians taking over the dancefloor as part of the newly formed Kid Crew. The dancers are all regulars at the annual event and some were even spotted by the creators of the show in the workshops and p...erformances. The kid crew were selected to represent many different genres in the dance industry. The team includes strong commercial dancers, ballet technicians, samba champions, tap specialists and authentic hip hop artists. There are also some comedians and big personalities too. The magic that is created when they all dance together will really entertain the at home audience. READY SET DANCE was officially launched at the Australian Dance Festival in 2015 by its creators Jade Barnes, Belinda Agostino, Natalie Ettingshausen, Glenda Yee and Priscilla Severino. The five successful entrepreneurs launched their innovative class-based dance program for preschoolers after identifying a gap in the market at their own successful dance studios. Five years later and the class is currently licensed to over 230 dance schools around Australia and New Zealand. The TV program premiered in January 2019 to critical praise from preschoolers and parents alike, ranking as the no. 1 Subscription TV program (excluding live sports/movies) amongst children 0-121.
