It has been a challenging experience working behind closed doors-to say the least! And we are ever so grateful to still be in business, thanks to all of you! The nicest things have been writing out some of the most beautiful and heart felt card messages- like we have never seen before in the almost 20 years of operating here! This makes us p...our so much more love & extra value into all of our orders. We’re calling this- Extra Iso Love! We’re also loving all the thank you so much messages, phone calls, reviews, likes, comments and every single interaction from our beautiful customers. This truly makes our day! The coffee’s & cakes, little surprise deliveries and brief chats with our locals walking past at the front of the shop - where we do most of our photo shoots; have also been so uplifting! 02.01.2022 A big THANK YOU you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday!! For those of you who don’t know me- let me introduce myself. My name is Konce. In the Turkish language the letter C is pronounced as a J and like many of us with difficult names to pronounce; we have nicknames and mine is Kate . I’m the florist and owner of Floral Affairs. We have been blossoming in the same location at 38 Furlong Road in Sunshine North, Melbourne since December the 11th 2000. Yes, it...’s almost our little shops 20 years of trading anniversary! Times have never been so challenging than during this pandemic. Our shopfront has been closed for what seems like forever and we are doing our best as we work behind the scenes to fulfil orders for daily deliveries and click & collect pick ups. Having experienced an iso birthday myself, I can now relate to so many of you who have experienced the same. The highlight is certainly surprise deliveries of thoughtful gifts, phone calls, messages and lots of virtual hugs! I really just wanted to say thank you very much for all the lovely birthday messages - it really made my day! And to share some of our recent favourite creations. It looks like we won’t be able to open our shopfront for a little while longer. So until we can serve you in the usual way; please continue to stay safe, order online for pick up or delivery or call us for special requests. We are so soo grateful for all your continual support. Without you all we would not still be here; especially as a sole trader with minimal government support. Please continue to support all your local small businesses, because every little bit helps. We are only permitted to fulfil online orders for deliveries and click & collect pick ups.... Getting in touch: We can’t always answer the phone due to an overwhelming amount or orders. The best way to contact get in touch: Leave a msg or text: Kate (Konce) on 0432113152. OR via the contact us form on our website. For Pick Ups: All pick ups must be pre paid. Unfortunately we are not allowed to serve you in the usual way we love to! We feel terrible letting you down when you knock on the shop door! We would appreciate your understanding considering there is a $10,000 fine! Please order your pick up online by selecting pick up. Don’t forget to add a pick up time. Please order by 2pm for same day pick up. Your flowers can be collected from curb side or we are more than happy to bring them to your car :). Deliveries: We are proudly offering a free local delivery service when ordering online. Free delivery includes Sunshine, Sunshine North, Sunshine West, Maidstone, Deer Park, St Albans, Caroline Springs, Keilor, Taylors Lakes, Footscray, and many more surrounding suburbs. We have also heavily reduced delivery fees of surrounding suburbs.
