25.01.2022 What a terrific game after presentations. Bruce Angus's concept of a annual Glasshouse (green) 4518 vs the Rest Hinterland (blue). Jack attack format. 2 games of 5 ends 2 bowl Triples with 1 end tie break if both teams are 1 set each. 7 rinks With much happiness I can announce Glasshouse were the 1st winners of this Fantastic Trophy which Tbone built. Looks amazing!!... Glassy 16 points, 8 sets and 36 ends Def Hinterland 12 points, 5 sets and 34 ends. Lots of laughter on the green. Cant wait again till next year. Go the green machine!!

Barb Whitfield, Sally Squires, Jacqui Hineman and Chris Freshwater def Jill kirchheiner, Joy Reason, Marilyn Podmore and Noelene Annakin 19-12. Final 9am next Wednesday 24th. Social. Hugh Campbell and Jack Timm def D Dunwoody and and Dick Coppa 28-13. Russell Walmsley and Rodney Sharpe def Emma Williams and Brian Squires 22-16. Graham Meyers and Frank Buckley def Liz Little and Brian Saunders 30-18. Ross Bruckner and Greg Eggins def Joyselyn Evans and Bruce Angus 17-16. 1st night of Business Bowls was a huge success with many new faces! 5 weeks to go. Thursday 18.02.21 Open Pairs. A full green of pairs was played in wet conditions. Not the best but we all got through it. Winners of the day on count back were Ken Duff and Max Viterale with 2 wins + 26 score (15 ends). R?up were Noelene Annakin and John Annakin with 2 wins + 26 score (13 ends). Lucky Draw went to Jenny Hobson and Di Hume. Raffle Rodney Sharpe. Good luck to all the Gr8's team this Saturday.

19.01.2022 Barb Whitfield receives award for most improved Bowler for 2020. Her 1st year of bowls ever and A Grade Singles winner. T-Bone our wonderful secretary with all his hours of hard work receives award for Club person of the year. Thanks for all you do, we all do notice the time you put into our wonderful club. Great speech and many would agree Bill Tumbridge could be up there as well receiving the award also.

Riley Patterson, Riley Pollock, Hayden Flood, Zac Flood and Will O'Mara. Winners of the day with 2 wins and a score of 34 were Sally and Brian Squires. 18.01.2022 Welcome back to all the Glasshouse Bowlers. Last 2 days have seen social back and running for 2021. Thanks to our wonderful green keepers. Who wants to finally see some results again.!! Wednesday 03.02.21 Ladies Day. Back to a 9am Start.... Di Hume. Lee Meyers and Brian Squires DREW Jill Kirchheiner, Noelene Annakin and Rob Scullion 15 all. Maz Idle, Jenny Hobson and Rodney Sharpe def Graham Meyers, Jack Timm and Rae Farrell 29-13 . Frank Buckley, Joy Reason and Ron Wilson def Hugh Campbell, Viv James and Bruce Angus 24-19. Marilyn Podmore, Sally Squires and Jacqui Hineman came from behind to beat Barb Whitfield, Marilyn Boulton and Chris Dougan 20-19. Thursday 04.02.21 Open Pairs. 30 people took the green which meant one game of triples. Already we have a full sheet for next Thursday so any extra names will be triples. Winners of the day with 2 wins and a margin of 25 were Andy Fraser, Barb Whitfield and Don Teirney. R/Up were Mac Townson and Rob Scullion with 2 wins + 20 margin. Lucky draw went to Jack Timm and Rodney Sharpe. Good luck to all Gr8's teams this Saturday. 2 games at home at 1pm. Ladies Div 5 and one of the men Div 5. 17.01.2022 Dennis Hume after 10 years of service, 8 as secretary and 5 as Treasurer, plus his countless hours in the office, helping the Ladies on a Wednesday, and coaching is retiring from Bowls.. you will be Missed Dennis. Our club thanks you for everything you have done.
