11.01.2022 Tonight we closed our doors for 6 weeks, it’s the first time in over 20 years that our family owned store has been closed for more than 2 days.... Whilst things are scary right now we can shut our doors knowing that our customers new & old will always be there. The last 4 months have proven to us that in times of trouble so many of us turn to music, whether it be listening, playing, watching or learning... Back in March whilst we were preparing for the worst we were astounded... to find a steady stream of brand new customers, from 5 year olds to 85 year olds all wanting to LEARN!!! We may not have had our regular musos coming in for their usual stuff but there were so many people dusting off old guitars from under the bed or in the garage bringing them in for set-ups & restrings, it is not just us that has seen this... its been the entire country!! We know our music industry has been decimated by this horrendous virus but we hope all the people that have lost their livelihoods can take a tiny bit of comfort from the fact that at this grassroots level people are turning to music more than ever before, more than we have seen in our 25 years selling instruments anyway!!! Our doors may be closed but we are still available for online & phone orders via click & collect, post or free local home delivery.
