04.01.2022 10 Years of Heaven Scent Where do I start? I'm not one to acknowledge my journey, but I thought now is the right time. It all started on the 1st November 2010, I plucked up the courage to venture out on my own again and I purchased Shop 24 Flowers & Frills from Grace Smith and Maria Barnes. With a little redecorating and a change of business name, I officially opened the doors on the 24th November to a new look Heaven Scent Flowers & Gifts. Being a newbie in the florist fie...ld, I was lucky enough to have Carla Hill a talented florist working along side of me. With her support, expertise and 43years of experience, she has taught me everything I know today. Four years on and with the business having grown considerably, I persuaded my husband to purchase a building in Cartwright Street, our present location and because of my love of redecorating, researching and providing my customers with a new experience, I opened a quaint coffee shop, now well established, beautifully decorated and set in amongst the blooms. I'm honoured and humbled, that you my amazing customers have stuck with us, during the good years and the bad. I hope you will all keep holding us to high standards and telling us when we've met your expectations, or if we have let you down. To my amazing staff, past and present. Thank you for the ten remarkable years of friendship and support. I absolutely couldn't of made it without you all, nor can I take the next steps without your help.
