16.01.2022 We could all do with some love & happiness right now, especially given the global health situation we are all facing. So here is a happy story for you I thought I would share... With love in her heart & a flower in her hair a beautiful bride said I Do to the love of her life a few weeks back. The Bride to be (Jessica) asked me to make something meaningful for her most special day & this was a huge privilege for me. I was asked to make a beautiful flower & clip (from sterli...ng silver) that she could wear in her hair & keep as a treasured memento of the day she married the love of her life. I completely handcrafted a solid sterling silver flower hair clip & loved the creative process. The flower was hand sawn from a sheet of sterling silver, and then formed and soldered with tiny balls for the centre of the flowers. The completed flowers I then soldered to the body of the handmade pins, made from sturdy sterling silver wire. The hair pins I then hallmarked, sanded, buffed, polished, wrapped & delivered. Congratulations Jessica & Douglas. How lucky am I to get to play a very small part in the celebration of their L O V E for each other .
