24.01.2022 Time to talk Meltdowns There is always a reason behind a meltdown! This is when a child is unable to control their feelings and emotions. It is important to note that meltdown is not just a child not getting their own way, it is often them trying to communicate with us that they are very uncomfortable and overwhelmed with what may be happening due to things such as sensory overload, learning problems, emotional regulation challenges or a diagnosis. Easy to make at home or readily available at the shops, playdoh is perfect for kids of all ages. You can start bat a young age developing hand strength, exploring how fingers work, and bilateral integration (using both hands).
