20.01.2022 A mantra for life .. I could listen daily ... says it all here so succinctly and sweetly ..

16.01.2022 Happy Easter :)

16.01.2022 I think we find this in our core self .. in the spaces ... in the quiet. In meditation ?

13.01.2022 What an interesting phrase ( see below ) toxic positivity . I’ve also seen this expressed as the tyranny of positivity ! Sitting along side someone holding space for their pain ,or sitting beside our own pain , allowing it to be ,is so often what we need

13.01.2022 I saw this quote today on fb and only this week thinking the same . 2 years ago about this time of year I took a 10 day silent Vipassana retreat . No phones , no lap top , no books , no eye contact . A total Internal immersion . It was voluntary isolation and a challenging , interesting but delicious time .. so I remind myself if this happens again to make it s nourishing productive experience again. In a pandemic, self-isolation is called quarantine. In Buddhism, it is called retreat. From the cave of our home, like the meditators of ancient times, we can consciously kindle the lamp of compassion and connection." ~ Lama Willa Miller

13.01.2022 Strength and grounding from these big boys today . Enjoying a spacious moment in nature whilst can still can do so

12.01.2022 Meditate ....for it all....but mostly for a connection to your sense of spirit. The loss of this connection in our material fast world , where things can change so quickly causes a sense of dis ease . And reconnecting with the essence of ourselves .. our deep heart ... supports a sense of ease and sustenance inside out to flow with it all . Or so I find .

09.01.2022 I have felt the need to stay grounded and practical right now , but this live Mantra recording that found me today an esquisite connection with the divine , through a rainbow of sound . Allow yourselves 8 minutes of bliss .It may move you to tears as it did me ... but that’s ok. https://youtu.be/4IFlaG45xM8

08.01.2022 All you need to know about relationships , tolerance and understanding !!!! https://youtu.be/0BxckAMaTDc

07.01.2022 today we start - week 1 - not taking our thoughts too seriously - quite a challenge I reckon! :)

07.01.2022 I feel that growing our spiritual life is one of the most serendipitous experiences from growing a meditation practice - although we might begin our mindfulness journey to manage stress, or anxiety , or to empty out and sleep better at the end of the day - I share here some lovely words from Tami Simon at Sounds True ( a great resource and web site for meditation resources). With regard to growing a spiritual life she talks about finding ourselves wherever we are........... "... the essence of spiritual life, in my experience, is to always begin againagain and againfrom wherever we find ourselves. Each new moment is a chance to open our hearts and to turn an affectionate gaze on ourselves, others, and our surroundings. Each new moment is a chance to say something true and vulnerable and meet someone in a deeper way. Each new moment is a chance to start again and take some type of action that feels loving and life-giving. In whatever place this finds you, this moment is sacred. The Irish poet John O'Donohue described the spiritual journey as the shortest journey we would ever take, one that requires not a change of location but instead a shift of view. When we can see ourselves as sacredin whatever condition we are in, without any sense of degradationwe have discovered the sacred world, which is this world, the world that holds us, gives us our life, and expresses through us." If you have read through to the end !!! - and you are interested in starting meditation practice ( or you know someone who is ) - I can help . I am running private meditation sessions on MONDAY AND TUESDAYS , during the day in my peaceful clinic room and AFTER WORK SESSIONS AVAIL 5 pm or 5.30 . I generally suggest a course of 3 is best - but single session is also possible too. Resources and guided audios included . :) See more

07.01.2022 Thankyou thich Naht Hahn for a Just perfect mantra meditation .. I can replace the word anger for anything that needs taking care of .. frustration , fear , sadness, grief , jealousy . And the last line .. strength to tend it .. to take care of it

04.01.2022 Another pocket size zoom meditation for you - "the breathing circle" you will hear Chubbs woof and the birds deciding to throw berries on the tin roof in the background ! ... but we mindfully flow through ! #meditationmadeeasy#lifeskillsforyourmind#mindskillsforyourlife

04.01.2022 Perspective .... the tendency to whipper snip out our weeds...but look at them differently and they are very beautiful ..

01.01.2022 Thankyou thismorning Helen Watson for a beautiful yin yoga class at wild heart .It was truly delicious . I’m reading a very transformational book atm. The five invitations -discovering what death can teach us about living fully - by Frank Ostaseski. I know that title might appear off putting but it’s poetically tender, full of life wisdom, and very calming . The 4th invitation is find a place of rest in the middle of things and he eloquently goes on to share how this involves allowing and the sense of ease this brings . And it does. He also shares how interestingly this is subtly different from the energy of acceptance which might imply judgement . Today I found a delicious place of rest in the middle of things in sliw meditative yoga ... happy Monday
