25.01.2022 Diary post: mural 1 day 2 Australians rock. That's all I have to say for now <3

22.01.2022 Diary post re: mural 1, day 1 It's early Sunday morning here, and last night I was too beat to post anything, so here goes. First day was busy and productive. B...ella Kelly's (the artist I am painting) family hang out with me by the wall - 4 generations of it. One of her daughters painted and asked to add her touch to the portrait I was painting. We sat there, on the top flight of the scaffold, conversing, observing, sharing a few moments of this unlikely crossroad moment of two humans from such different backgrounds. One of her grandchildren (Bella's great grandson) painted some of the wall as well. The family brought one of Bella's pieces so I saw one of her originals and motivated by their enthusiasm and utter love. This morning some of the scaffolding is taken down, so I'll have more to show.
