OPSTAR went on a search to locate an activated EPIRB today to find an out of date EPIRB submerged in, I guess it could be called bilge water, in a boat parked up on the side of the road. The owner had changed several times from that of the registered owner, not helping the process of tracking this down. Let's all play our part; update registration details, safely and securely stow your life saving equipment and treat it as if it will save your life one day; it may well do just that....
