24.01.2022 This fault can only be found it you test your Inflatable correctly



14.01.2022 Mfg 2014, never tested before. Hole in the bladder. The gent as he was leaving said, "I don't know why we get these tested I don't use them anyway."

13.01.2022 Just think, you end up falling out of your boat. Pull the cord on your inflatable Lifejacket and it starts going down straight away looks like your in the shit. Get your jacket tested.

11.01.2022 When conducting a service on your inflatable pfd. have a look at the SOLAS tape for damage. picture 1 looks like no damage. But if you take a photo with your flash on your phone you can see the damage and how ineffective this is at night.



09.01.2022 As of January 2021 your lifejacket with the Australian Standard AS1512 will only be recognised as a 50S standard and cannot be used in open waters. (Ocean) Lifejacket standards A Level 100+ lifejacket must conform to at least one of the following standards: AS 4758 - Level 275 ... AS 4758 - Level 150 AS 4758 - Level 100 ISO 12402-2: 2006 - Lifejackets, performance level 275 ISO 12402-3: 2006 - Lifejackets, performance level 150 ISO 12402-4: 2006 - Lifejackets, performance level 100 New Zealand Standards NZ5823: 2005 Type 401 A Level 50 lifejacket must conform to at least one of the following standards: AS 4758 Level 50 ISO 12402-5: 2006 - Buoyancy aids (level 50) A Level 50S lifejacket must conform to at least one of the following standards: AS 4758 Level 50S ISO 12402-5: 2006 - Buoyancy aids (level 50) Notes: 1. EN 399-1993 Series has been replaced by the ISO 12402-2006 Series. 2. The following lifejacket standards have been superseded. Lifejackets carrying these standards will continue to be recognised as acceptable where the lifejacket existed, and was in use, prior to the commencement of the Marine Safety Regulation 2016 (7 October 2016).
