25.01.2022 I've been so fortunate to work for two high achievers Lisa and Lichia, and their hard working team Baldivis Chiropractic. I'm not often lost for words but this little book had me completely choked up. I can't wait to see how far they fly. They really care so much for their patients and their team. It's been an honour to be a part of it.
25.01.2022 New Year... new office Vibes @ Proactive Administration
24.01.2022 Who do you think is happier: the person who is defined by their circumstances or the person who creates their circumstances? Which category are you in now? Which category do you want to be in?
24.01.2022 How do you feel?
24.01.2022 So it appears a lot of businesses need to send their workers to work remotely from home. It's what I've been doing as a VA at Proactive for the past 12 months. My tips:... *Be disciplined with your time *Clearly define your tasks *Don't react to every incoming email *Take structured breaks (your back will love you) *Take a proper lunch break *Reassess your task list *Notify your team of your project milestones *Keep background TV off Most of all *Enjoy the comfort of wearing sweats to work These are a few of my tips. PS: I'm always here for outsourcing if you get stuck.

23.01.2022 I was asked the other day "will you add my photo to my CV" Current trends "say no to the photo" If your looks are a specific requirement for the job (i.e actor/dancer/model), naturally you need to show the pearly white smile. In most cases there are no real benefits of including one. In 2020, leaving out the picture on your resume remains best practice and your safest bet for landing the job. When was the last time you updated your CV? I can help you and give you your ti...me back. https://www.proactiveadmin.com.au

22.01.2022 This post is not about selling tickets, it's a post about understanding your concerns. RTC continues to have rehearsals for our upcoming show "Pure Nectar" whi...ch opens on 27th of March. This means in just under two weeks away we hope we can take your minds off things for a while. RTC is run by volunteers who make time to give back to the community, and we appreciate the loyalty our volunteers and patrons have shown for our past productions. The safety and wellness of our cast, crew patrons and members of the general public is always our greatest priority. RTC has taken steps to brief our cast and crew, to increase venue cleaning frequency, and hand sanitizer is available. We are small venue with and maximum capacity of around 100. A not for profit group doing our best to make you feel safe and comfortable with us. We will keep you updated should there be any changes to our production options. Please share this message to anyone your feel needs to be mindful of the not for profit groups offering to keep your minds occupied during such a concerning time. Sue Hasey RTC Production Manager
22.01.2022 Hey Y'all, I hope everyone is as healthy and happy as can be during this time. I've had my head buried brushing up on my VBA skills, so it's been a while since I've posted. It appears that the online business renewal scam has reared up again, to help protect yourself: *Keep your anti-virus software up to date and run weekly anti-virus and malware scans... be wary of emails that don't address you by name or misspell your details and have unknown attachments *Remove email access from people who no longer need it *Use a spam filter on your email account and don't click any links on a suspicious email secure your wireless network and be careful when using public wireless networks. Checkout the link. https://asic.gov.au//servi/scams-targeting-asic-customers/

18.01.2022 It's times like this you can really appreciate the type of work that your staff do. Some businesses are lucky enough to be able to set their teams up with a home based office. One thing to consider is insurance. For those of enabling your team to work from home, make sure you have coverage in place. If in doubt, hire a VA. The good ones will already have coverage in place. ... Here's some further reading. Please share my post to help keep others informed. https://www.abc.net.au//coronavirus-working-from-/12056942
18.01.2022 I'm working today so that my client can enjoy the sun. That's what my VA business is all about: Giving you your time Back! PS...would it be awful if I outsourced?

15.01.2022 There's more than one benefit to having this cafe as a client!
15.01.2022 Are you being heard? 1. Define the problem 2. Brainstorm solutions with your team 3. Have them rate each solution out of /10 4. Pick the highest rated solution and give it a go... 5. Review the outcome after a set period and repeat step 1 if required. See more
14.01.2022 VA vs PA - What's the difference? The first key difference between a Virtual Assistant (VA) and a Personal Assistant (PA) is that the Personal assistant is often located in the office of the employer. Personal assistant takes care secretarial type of tasks, i.e business schedule, coordinates meetings and events while making efforts to optimise effectively the time of his direct manager. A PA is a Personal Assistant and usually handles the tasks for one employer at a time. ...Virtual assistant is an entrepreneur, who works independently for a number of clients offering the service via remote support in a virtual way via Internet, e-mail, fax, telephone calls, even Facebook messenger and Whatsapp. Working time with a VA is flexible, it is usually date driven, and remuneration negotiated up front. There are no hidden costs, insurance, or overheads. You both agree on the service, payment, location and due date. In general a VA is specialised in a wide range of administrative, project, analytic and copy-writing activities, and will work on or offsite. There are a few specific points that you should carefully consider before choosing the type of assistant you should hire. Consider how you like to communicate to someone, but most of all Its also important to evaluate the urgency of your tasks and projects in order to determine expectations of timeliness.

14.01.2022 As an employer, encouraging a healthy balance shows your employees that you dont just value their job performance, but that you respect and value them as people. "Work-life balance is a hot phrase amongst corporations these days, but do you really put it into practice? Here's some food for thought: 1. Ask Your Workers What They Need 2. Keep an Eye Out for Burnout 3. Embrace Flextime... 4. Promote Healthy Initiatives 5. Encourage Efficient Work The Mental Health Foundation reports that when working long hours, 27% of employees feel depressed, 34% feel anxious and 58% feel irritable. Do you do any of these?

03.01.2022 With International Women's Day around the corner, I thought I'd post a little something about this young woman that has inspired me. This girl has been a strong survivor; mindful and kind to others her whole life. Even in the womb she shared her life, blood, energy and space with her brother. ... On the outside she was the baby girl of 6 siblings. It wasn't easy to be heard. She's had more than her share of hardships to overcome, but has held her head high and her heart full of empathy for her family and her friends. She's my best friend and has been the greatest strength for those who need it. She's my Daughter
