25.01.2022 Just a further update as to why I haven’t been in the shop lately. The family has been hit by the influenza A flu strain. It was a fairly nasty strain and highly contagious. I apparently won’t be, non-contagious until after this weekend, and as I don’t want to spread it around I probably won’t be back until next week. 22.01.2022 Well I said they would sell out before the weekend and they have. Thank you to everyone for supporting local growers. All fruit we sell is locally sourced from smaller growers and I, and they thank you all very much. Don’t forget we still have apples and pears in stock.

16.01.2022 People often come in with things they think are silver. They are silver in colour and they look like silver, but most of the time they are EPNS. There is a big difference in price, and quality, between EPNS and silver. I am going to provide some links which will help you to tell the difference between the two. I hope this helps if you were ever wondering. Please note the markings on either product.... Silver: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver EPNS: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickel_silver

08.01.2022 Picked up some cool items whilst in Mildura including this military issue bugle case, (still need to research it), plus this fantastic novelty hip flask set. Both items will be for sale, in-store when I get back to Waikerie next week.

01.01.2022 Edit: Sold this beautiful girl today. There is quite the history behind her with this picture once being in residence at the Waikerie Gliding Club. Maybe the picture sold her, but the story which came with her sold her more I think. Everything has a story, and they say a picture is worth a thousand words. This young lady carried with her a thousand memories.... Leo Jansen print. 1970’s print. 47cm x 62cm $75
