24.01.2022 At Riise HQ whilst styling the brows of fantastic Brisbane ladies, I have endeavoured to do everything in my power to stop the spread of the heinous virus currently crippling our nation. Yesterday however my hand was forced to close my dream, my business, but emotions aside, it is the only way forward to save our country, protect our people and simply do the right thing. So as I turned off the pot tonight, lay my tweezers back in their box, closed the curtains on what I can o...nly pray won’t be my last performance, I realised just how lucky I am my business has introduced me to such wonderful caring people over the years. When this storm is over, each and every client, whom I can put my hand on my heart and say you mean the world to me, will be welcome back with open arms. In the meantime, no matter what your brows do, where they end up or how sharp they may become, your partner will undoubtedly develop a secret appreciation when the waxing industry is ready to resume and trade once again. As you know I am unable to style your brows at the moment, but you certainly can!! With gel that is, remember, tweezers are not your friend, they are mine. Should you be out of brow product or your Eyenvy please message me, I am able to mail product out to you for as long as Australia post remains open. These brows will not get the better of us, a few strays won’t change just how beautiful you really are

09.01.2022 For a brow artist there are far more than twelve days of Christmas and a partridge in a pare tree. In the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve It’s early starts and late finishes, few toilet breaks and a diet of mostly caffeine with an extra shot, to ensure no brow hovered over the Christmas ham looking unruly or unstyled. So as all my treasured clients enjoy the seasons festivities, wine, laughter, friends & family please know that your ongoing support of my little business m...eans the world to me. A wise woman only recently pointed out to me a brow stylist has the hands of a surgeon, the eyes of an artist, the patience of a saint and the ears of a therapist. I am all that though with a mound of gratitude also. Each day I count my blessings I have such wonderful clients continually return through my salon doors yearly to support my business and make my job so thoroughly enjoyable. Stay safe everyone. 09.01.2022 The restrictions have been lifted ladies, it’s time to open Riise HQ again. From Saturday 16th of May I can once again tame the unruliest of brows and have you looking and feeling your best. Social distancing rules will be in place, a register will need to be taken of your visit and although these measures may seem strict, it is so important we continue to abide by the rules to ensure another outbreak does not occur. Please be patient with me if I don’t get back to your messages straight away. I will endeavour to get you all in as soon as I possibly can. I will need to allow extra time for sterilisation and spacing appointments out so no one is having to cross paths with others in reception, measures required to keep us all safe. 08.01.2022 Ladies, unfortunately some discrepancies have arisen in the time line for lifting the Covid 19 restrictions. The beauty industry was stipulated ‘some’ services only and waxing specifically was scheduled for a different stage. Don’t panic just yet, swipe those brows to the side and let them know they’re on borrowed time. As soon as I get my response from the Palache government, you will be the first to know.
