17.01.2022 Why is my coconut oil grainy? As the days are warming up you will notice that your coconut oil is melting and sometimes becomes grainy in texture. The reason for this is because coconut oil is made up of different fatty acids which have different melt points. To get your coconut oil back to a smooth consistency, place the container in the sun or into a bowl of very hot water. Let it totally melt then put into the fridge for an hour to set hard. This should stay hard for some time.

It suds up at first but the bubbles do disappear quickly, however it still dissolves grease and leaves the dishes clean and glasses streak free. So great to reduce my plastics use. I love the smell too. ... 5 star rating from me. Elise x The other product is Minimal Essentials Stain-Removing Laundry Stick which also works well. I have also used it on my carpet and car seat. It really works and cuts through grease and leaves glasses streak free. You’ve just got to get used to the bubbles not lasting this doesn’t mean that its not cleaning.
