20.01.2022 Happy Birthday to our President Peter Ridsdale. I won’t tell you how old he is, but it’s a milestone and it’s not 21. Congratulations to you from all the members of our great club. The Ballaarat Club wouldn’t be in the fantastic shape we are currently in without your dedication and leadership. Enjoy your Birthday with your family and friends (but not too many).

15.01.2022 It’s been a busy two weeks for Birthdays at the club, with none other than our Vice President Ivan Blomeley celebrating his Birthday today. Happy Birthday Ivan from all our members.

08.01.2022 Hi all, just a quick quiz to end the working week: 1. Who is the good looking young rooster in this photo? 2. What happened? 3. What's the story with the lump on his knee?

07.01.2022 Good afternoon Members, I hope that you all survived this week’s wild weather without suffering too much storm damage. After the few weeks we have all just endured the good news is that the Members’ Bar will be re-opening tonight from 5.30pm. The fire will be burning.. the bar fully stocked..and you definitely deserve to treat yourself to some pleasant conversation solving the problems of the world (or not) with your fellow Club Members. Call in after work today - we lo...ok forward to seeing you! Monthly Members’ and Guests Luncheon next week If you can’t join us tonight, why not come along to next Friday’s Members’ and Guests Monthly Luncheon at The Grand. Our guest speaker this month is Ben Wilkie from local family-owned business Natures Cargo. Ben will be talking about his experience kayaking with a few mates across Bass Strait without any support craft or assistance. The journey took 25 days in total, 14 of which was spent stranded on an island in extreme weather conditions. This is an inspiring story (with a twist) of resilience, determination and triumph that is sure to motivate us all and touch your hearts. Where: The Grand, 203 Dana Street Ballarat When: Friday 18 June 12.00noon Dress: Jacket and tie RSVP: Wednesday 16 June 12.00noon

02.01.2022 Hi everyone, A reminder that the Members’ Bar will be open from 5:30pm - who knows, it may be one of the last opportunities to enjoy a glass of wine or beer on the balcony and in the sun before the winter weather kicks in. Otherwise a reminder to RSVP for our May Members’ Dinner that is next Friday evening (28 May) before next Tuesday. With a number of Members and guests already having RSVP’d to attend, it is sure to be another enjoyable and entertaining evening!

02.01.2022 It doesn’t seem that long ago when Lola at the Provincial Hotel hosted one of our monthly luncheons. After a magnificent lunch we headed off on our traditional walk of shame before taking a pit stop at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale building in Lydiard Street to hear from our guest speaker Fiona Sweet before heading back to the club for a few more beverages and some pleasant conversation. We are looking forward to seeing you all at our first lunch back from isolation, it’s sure to be a beauty. #onthecountdown
